- INTRODUCTION
At Nubius Solutions, we align our Operating System (OS) version maintenance policies with Vultr’s OS lifecycle policies to ensure a secure and stable hosting environment. However, our standard support does not include OS updates or upgrades. Customers seeking OS version maintenance must opt for our Managed Services or subscribe to Nubius Lifecycle Manager.
- STANDARD SUPPORT (SELF-MANAGED OS MAINTENANCE)
Customers utilizing our standard hosting services are responsible for:
- Performing their own OS updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Monitoring security advisories and applying necessary patches.
- Ensuring compatibility of their applications with OS updates.
Nubius Solutions does not provide OS maintenance under standard support. However, customers may opt for assistance on a billable basis if required.
- MANAGED SERVICES (INCLUDES LIFECYCLE MANAGER)
Customers subscribed to our Managed Services receive comprehensive OS maintenance, including:
- Automated patch management through Nubius Lifecycle Manager.
- Regular security updates and system optimizations.
- Proactive monitoring for OS-related vulnerabilities.
- Seamless upgrades to supported OS versions.
This service ensures that your OS remains secure, stable, and compliant with industry best practices.
- NUBIUS LIFECYCLE MANAGER (SEPARATE SERVICE OPTION)
For customers who prefer to manage their own hosting environments but require automated patching, Nubius Lifecycle Manager is available as a standalone service. This includes:
- Automated OS and application patching.
- Centralized update management.
- Comprehensive reporting on system health and security.
- Custom compliance policy enforcement.
Customers may subscribe to Nubius Lifecycle Manager separately to streamline their OS maintenance processes.
- SUPPORTED OS VERSIONS & END-OF-LIFE (EOL) POLICIES
- Nubius Solutions follows Vultr’s OS version lifecycle policies.
- We recommend that customers do not use unsupported OS versions as they may be vulnerable to security risks.
- Customers using EOL OS versions do so at their own risk and will not receive security updates or official support.
